There is this super famous duck rice stall outside our house, well, outside our ex-house. People would drive from all over, even Malaysia, to eat at this stall.

They also serve other standard dishes like Sambal Kangkong, Tofu and Sambal Sotong. The drinks are also standard, either canned drinks or home-made barley or lime juice.

To me, the stall is just ***1/2 but to many, I am sure they rate it *****.

One trick we learnt, never order "duck to be shared at the centre" cos your bill will be quite hefty! The staff would always ask the trick question, "Eating for 2?" or "Eating for 4?". You must then answer, 2 plates please... Then you would be served 2 individual plates of duck rice. Otherwise, you would get 2 bowls of white rice with a larger plate of ducks placed at the centre to be shared. But truly, the amount of duck is almost the same but the price would be a world of difference. Don't believe? Try it.
