No more LG from now on!
Referring to my previous article on our LG Plasma TV Purchase, I would now officially like to diarize a note about this darn TV!
Less than 2 years old and it is already giving us lots of problems!! It is always switching on and off by itself. The problem is, it doesn't just switch off and end of story. It will switch off and on and off and on and of and on and off and on..... Ok, I know you know what I mean by now. When this happens, the remote becomes useless and the only way to stop the problem is to switch off the main switch altogether.
... the one who will never buy LG brand ever EVER EVER again.

We managed to dig out the "Certificate of Warranty" of the TV. We called the LG hotline and they promptly send the serviceman who came yesterday to fix the problem.
FOC. He said if we could locate our receipt, the warranty will be extended to 3 years.
Lesson to learn: from now on, have a folder to file in all your electronics receipts! If they are on thermal paper, photocopy first because thermal paper fades with time.
2 points to LG for their promptness & efficiency.
